Two members of the Columbus North girls golf team have been named Academic All-State by the Indiana Coaches of Girls Sports Association.

LaVelle earns Exemplary Behavior Report
Columbus East boys soccer coach Sam LaVelle has received an Exemplary Behavior Report from the IHSAA.
LaVelle was recognized by an official for his behavior before, during and after a 1-0 home loss to Floyd Central on Sept. 24.
“This was an important conference game for both teams,” the official wrote. “Despite the intensity, both coaches were exceptional role models for their players, displaying good sportsmanship and showing great respect toward the referees.”
Volleyball tournament draw is Sunday
