Jennings County man arrested on Level 1 felony child molesting charge

JENNINGS COUNTY — Jennings County Sheriff’s Office have arrested a Jennings County man on a Level 1 felony charge of child molestation.

The investigation lead by Detective Ian McPherson began when investigators were contacted by Sgt. John Amis of the Jennings County Sheriff’s Office, reporting a possible child molest that occurred in Jennings County. Amis took the initial report.

Investigators worked with members of the Indiana Department of Child Services and the Children Advocacy Center. The investigation indicated that David Moser, 69, engaged in the molestation of a 10-year-old female child who has autism.

At the conclusion of the investigation, McPherson arrested Moser on the preliminary charge of child molesting, Level 1 felony.

Moser was later incarcerated in the Jennings County Jail where his bond was set by the court at $75,000.

Chief Deputy Cody Low reiterates to the community that, “This case defines evil to its core. The detectives and deputies of the Jennings County Sheriff’s Office will continue to aggressively go after anyone who victimizes the children in our community”.
