COLUMBUS
Brody Neal Burris, 45, of Columbus, passed away Monday October 7, 2024 at University Hospital, Indianapolis. He was born January 7, 1979.
Brody loved music and was a drummer. He also loved camping, sports, and social gatherings with family and friends. He also made peace with the Lord before his passing.
He is survived by his loving mother, Diane Burris of Columbus; sister, Tara Burris of Lexington, KY; niece, Jena (Joe) Bochicchio of Lexington; cousins, Matt Staples of Scipio and Mike Staples of Columbus; and girlfriend, Sabrina Rudder of Columbus.
Preceding him in death were his father, Edward C. Burris; grandparents, Dennis and Thelma Neal, and Denzel and Daisy Burris; uncle, Ed Staples; aunt, Linda Staples; and cousin, Amanda Roark.
The funeral service will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. Friday, October 11, 2024 at Myers-Reed Chapel with Pastor Steve Yeaton officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Visitation will also be on Friday from 4 – 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
