Krea Martin
INDIANAPOLIS — Columbus East sophomore Krea Martin went over the 1,000 assist mark for her career Thursday in a 25-17, 25-17, 25-18 volleyball loss at Roncalli, which is ranked No. 5 in the nation by MaxPreps.
Martin led the Olympians (4-23) with 15 assists, 13 digs and two aces. Kimberly Carothers pounded six kills, and Anika Jenkins had five solo and eight assist blocks.
Also for East, Jenkins tallied five kills, Carothers had two solo blocks and Martin added five assist blocks. Addison Emery notched eight digs, and Jenna Thomas served one ace.
