FRANKLIN — Columbus North and Franklin will play in the opening round of the East Central volleyball sectional, but they got a sneak preview of that matchup a week early Thursday when the host Grizzly Cubs posted a 25-20, 25-15, 19-25, 25-11 win.
Kennedy Horn recorded 12 kills and six blocks, and Morgan Osborn had 21 digs and two aces to lead the Bull Dogs (16-15). Reese Edwards tallied 10 assists.
Also for North, Karen Dutro notched seven kills and three blocks, and Lexi Denny added eight assists and one ace. Elaina Penrod pounded five kills, Sydney Ousley had three blocks and Horn served one ace.
