West Virginia Tech tops Crimson Pride in 4 sets

BECKLEY, W. Va. — IU Columbus won the third set Friday, but West Virginia Tech recovered to hand the Crimson Pride a 26-24, 26-24, 23-25, 25-22 River States Conference defeat.

Alyvia Luce and Maddie Hunter each recorded 17 digs and one ace, and Sadie Egan had 28 assists and one ace to lead IUC. Cora Baker pounded 16 kills, Kera Wischmeier notched four blocks and Reese Ferrel and Olivia Embry each served one ace.

The Crimson Pride (6-7, 2-5) will play both Rio Grande and Ohio Christian today at Rio Grande.
