Crimson Pride fall twice in Ohio

RIO GRANDE, Ohio — IU Columbus came away with a pair of River States Conference volleyball losses on Saturday, falling 25-21, 25-17, 25-19 at Rio Grande and 25-18, 25-23, 25-23 to Ohio Christian.

Kenze Bostic, a freshman from Hauser, led the Crimson Pride with two blocks and three aces against Rio Grande. Olivia Embry pounded eight kills, Sadie Egan recorded 13 assists and Cora Baker and Alyvia Luce each notched 10 digs.

Adelynn Anderson led IUC with 12 digs and two aces against Ohio Christian. Madison Hunter pounded 10 kills, Egan recorded 26 assists and Kera Wischmeier had two blocks.

The Crimson Pride (6-9, 2-6) visit Alice Lloyd on Oct. 18 and Shawnee State on Oct. 19 before returning home to play IU Southeast on Oct. 22.
