LAWRENCEBURG — Jennings County captured its first sectional volleyball title since 1991 Saturday at Lawrenceburg.
The Panthers (23-4), which dropped from Class 4A to 3A this year, beat Greensburg 25-17, 25-18, 25-19 in the semifinals on Saturday morning. Jennings then topped Batesville 29-27, 25-19, 25-16 in Saturday night’s championship game.
Jennings will host a regional on Oct. 26. Teams have been not been assigned to specific regional sites as of 9:30 p.m. Saturday.
