ST. LEON — Columbus East saw its volleyball season come to an end Saturday with a 25-22, 25-16, 25-14 loss to East Central in the semifinals of the East Central Sectional.
Krea Martin led the Olympians (4-28) with 19 assists and two aces. Kimberly Carothers pounded eight kills, Anika Jenkins had one solo and one assist block and Lauren Smith notched seven digs.
Also for East, Lilah Klei recorded four kills and two assist blocks, and Chloe Gill pounded four kills. Claire Behnke had one solo block, Addison Emery added four digs and Jenkins served one ace.
