NORTH VERNON — Last week, Jennings County won its first volleyball sectional title since 1991.
Playing in front of a home crowd Saturday afternoon, the Panthers did the same at the regional level. The won their first regional crown since 1991 with a 25-13, 25-17, 22-25, 25-20 victory against Jasper.
Jennings (24-4) will play Class 3A No. 1 Roncall at 10 a.m. Nov. 2 in the semistate semifinals at Columbus East. Silver Creek and Tri-West will meet in the second semifinal. The semistate final will be at 7 p.m. Nov. 2.
