Brian’s picks
* For those ready to wave the bigger-is-better banner, make a note of this: The free, rain-or-shine Columbus Pride Festival from noon to 7 p.m. on Saturday at Mill Race Park, 50 Carl Miske Drive in downtown Columbus will feature more vendors than ever, more entertainment, more food trucks, and will stretch an extra hour beyond the previous six hours. Plus, there will be a new teen area, sponsored by Centra Credit Union. Any questions? In the past, the event has attracted 2,000 or more people. Besides music, food and a drag show at the fest, there’s also an after-party from 8 p.m. to midnight at The Forge On Fourth with drag queens and DJ music. Tickets for that are $40.
