Sometimes a true story is more haunting than fiction! Inspired by The Crump’s 135th Anniversary, the true and tragic story of The Crump’s own “Lady in Black” and her love for mandolin music, the Columbus Mandolin Orchestra will take us on a musical journey through time.
They will be joined by special guests, The Louisville Mandolin Orchestra, for an unforgettable performance of songs you know and one that’s never been heard on stage before… Souvenirs de Bovio composed by the mandolinist husband of “The Lady in Black”!
Be prepared for surprises along the way as we explore “A Musical Mystery” through the haunting sounds of these talented mandolin orchestras to benefit The Crump Theatre and the Bartholomew County Historical Society!
