Classic Cars Coming to Columbus

Columbus residents invited by the Indiana Region Classic Car Club of America to a free exhibition of Classic cars on Saturday, July 22

Indianapolis, IN, July 15, 2023 – Over 40 Classic cars will be showcased during the Three Region Grand Classic car show hosted by the Indiana Region Classic Car Club on Saturday, July 20 at Mill Race Park, 50 Carl Miske Drive, in Columbus, IN. The Grand Classic is a three-day event attracting members of the Classic Car Club of America from over 10 states to Columbus.

Ranging from a 1918 Pierce Arrow 6 Model 48 7-Passenger Touring to a 1937 Packard 12 Convertible Victoria, the museum-worthy cars are a fantastic snapshot of American automotive history, including several examples of Indiana-manufactured models such as Stutz and Auburn.

Following the judging on Saturday morning, the public is invited to view the cars and talk with the owners from 12 noon to 3:30 pm ET. This exhibition is a great, free, family-friendly event.

“Columbus, well-known for its love of design and architecture, is the perfect location for a Grand Classic featuring cars that are truly art in motion,” said Carol Pumphrey, organizer of the Three Region Grand Classic.

 About the Indiana Region of the Classic Car Club of America

Founded in 1959, the region encompasses all of Indiana, plus portions of north-eastern Kentucky and southwestern Ohio. The region contains over 125 members and is very active, with monthly events ranging from breakfast gatherings to collection tours and driving outings. Members participate in concourse events around the Midwest. The Indiana Region publishes the Hoosier Horn magazine and has formulated Classic Car Motor Oil which is sold at http://www.inrccca.org.
