Brown County Democrat: Nashville, Ind.
The Brown County Democrat was established in 1869. Headquartered in Nashville, the county seat of picturesque Brown County, this award-winning weekly newspaper continues to carry out the highest standards in community journalism. The newspaper is truly an integral part of Brown County life and residents know, “It’s not Wednesday until you’ve read the Democrat.” Besides the newspaper, the Democrat also publishes a popular quarterly tourism guide called the Brown County Almanack, an award-winning Web site located at www.bcdemocrat.com and many other niche publications to serve the needs of our readers and advertisers. Daily Journal: Franklin, Ind.
Six days a week the Daily Journal serves Johnson County and the south suburban area of Indianapolis. Founded in 1963, it is one of Indiana’s most honored community newspapers, having won many awards for newspaper excellence from the Indiana Associated Press and the Hoosier State Press Association. In 2009 HSPA honored the Daily Journal with its coveted Blue Ribbon Award as the best daily newspaper in Indiana. The Daily Journal also won first place in the general excellence category among newspapers in its circulation size. Besides the daily newspaper, the staff also publishes the award-winning news Web site www.dailyjournal.net, and is home to several other publications, including SOUTH magazine, the Edinburgh Courier, Southside Homes, Southside Business Exchange and the Crier – the official base newspaper for Camp Atterbury.
Daily Reporter: Greenfield, Ind.
The Daily Reporter, founded in 1908, is one of Indiana’s best hometown newspapers. Honored multiple times in recent years by the Hoosier State Press Association for General Excellence and Community Service, the Daily Reporter is the area’s top source for news about Greenfield and Hancock County. It is published Monday through Saturday from a state-of-the-art facility on Greenfield’s north side. The Daily Reporter also publishes two weekly newspapers: the Fortville-McCordsville Reporter and the New Palestine Reporter. Its weekly Advertiser shopper section also circulates in central Hancock County.
Times-Post: Pendleton, Ind.
The Times-Post newspaper is a true partner in South Madison County, serving the towns of Pendleton, Lapel, Ingalls and Markleville, publishing every Thursday. Purchased by Home News Enterprises in June 2007, two weekly newspapers, The Pendleton Times and Lapel Post were combined to provide the optimum in coverage, design and content for subscribers. Located in the heart of historic Downtown Pendleton at 126 W. State St., the Times-Post offers a unique blend of local news and government coverage.
